Minnehaha Falls

These Falls are just a few miles from my home, so I have painted here often. In the spring there is normally plenty of water pouring over the falls to make an interesting painting.

Pidgeon River Falls

This is one more of the paintings I did at the Grand Marais Paint out.  These Falls are at Grand Portage. 

Point Loma Light House

There are so many great scenes to paint in San Diego, I like to go there for a break from Minnesota winters. 

Cottages

Even though you can't see the lake from this view, it was my favorite painting of the week. It was mid day and very warm. I went back to my cottage and sat in the shade looking up the hill and painted this in about 2 hours.

Two Light Houses

I went to Grand Marais, Minnesota on the North Shore of Lake Superior two weeks ago. It's a great place to paint. I'm happy with several of the paintings, so I will add them to my blog. This is the last one I painted. The view is from Artist's Point and probably has been painted thousands of times over the years.
