These Falls are just a few miles from my home, so I have painted here often. In the spring there is normally plenty of water pouring over the falls to make an interesting painting.
I am a compulsive painter. Almost everyday you will find me at my easel, either out painting landscapes or in my studio painting still lifes or figures. I worked in graphic design and illustration, I now paint full time. My paintings are included in numerous private collections and my painting "Morning in Prague is in the Governors Mansion in St. Paul. I have won a number of awards including first place at the 2007 Grand Marais Paint out. First place In the "Quick Paint" at the 2009 Grand Marais Paintout and first place in the "Quick Paint" at the 2008 AitkinPlein Air Paintout.
